GROUP 2 - INTERMEDIATE SKATERS

Group 2 (Intermediate) skaters have passed their Stage 6. They have more ice-time available to them and lessons are predominantly private. These private lessons are usually 15 minutes in length and given as often as can be arranged with your skater's coach. Group lessons are given by a coach as well. Registration fees cover ice-time only so you must arrange for a base coach to instruct your child.  If for some reason time is missed you may contact the club to see if an alternate time might be available.. There are also specific skating times for Intermediates and those times must be adhered to. Coaches, parents and skaters are requested to respect the skating schedule.
Private lessons: There is a group lesson at each session for Group 2 skaters.  Private lessons (at your own request and discretion) will be paid to your coach.

Test fees: $12 per test, $5 per test session.  There are a maximum of 4 test sessions per year.

Competition fees: Entry fee (usually around $75 per event), travel costs, and coaching costs.  Coaching costs depend upon the number of coaches going to the competition, and are divided among the number of skaters competing in the event.  It includes guidance for competition registration, event venue, schedule, and rinkside coaching.  The cost covers lost private lessons and travel expenses.
Please view the complete Ice Schedule for times and locations.
